This recipe is filled with protein, fiber, carbohydrates for energy, good fats.
If you want to make this for kids I wouldn’t add the protein powder. Most companies protein powders are not formulated for the delicate stomachs of children.
Protein is an important component of every cell in the body. It’s an important building block of bones, muscles, cartilage, skin, and blood.
The human body does not store protein, and therefore has no reservoir to draw on when it needs a new supply.
Protein is a “macro-nutrient,” meaning that the body needs relatively large amounts of it to keep it renewing its cells.
Hemp seeds are exceptionally nutritious and rich in healthy fats, protein and various minerals.
